Send a Card To the “You’ve Got Mail” Project!
My friend Carl loves the art of correspondence. For fun, he sends to his friends cards, letters, pieces of board games with an address and a stamp stuck on it… and I have to say, it is a joy to receive these little treasures from him in the mail. Over this last year, Carl has taken his love of correspondence to a whole new level: He has opened it up to the world with his “You’ve got Mail” project, with the whole thing culminating in an art show (here in Austin, TX) presenting much of what he has and is continuing to receive.
To join up, listen in or just get more information, visit the official Facebook page here: You’ve Got Mail Facebook or shoot Carl and email to get on his newsletter mailing list: youvegotmail@gmail.com
And if you’re looking for the perfect place to find cards… I know just where you should go!
Smile! See Cards from Ann Woodall Studios!
Next week I’ll be adding more flower hair clips and hats to the Etsy shop. If you’re in Austin, take some time to swing by Crofts Boutique on South Congress. Not only does she carry a fantastic array of hand picked clothing, she also carries a wide selection of my flower hair clips as well as cards from Ann Woodall Studios. Then you can head across the street for a cupcake at the Hey Cupcake! trailer. There’s a lot to see and do on South Congress these days.
Have a great day!
Ann
